Fleur de Lace have a little Aladdin’s Cave of wedding”ey” fabulousness! It’s in Letchworth, hidden in the industrial estate.  We don’t have many spare weekends, so we try and arrange meetings during the week or on the few weekend days we have free. We always offer a consultation, chance for you to come see what you can book, however big or small your booking is.  This service is free to all bookings.

Please let us know if you would like to arrange a meeting when you “request a quote” (via the Collection Page) or message Fleur de Lace (details below) and we will arrange a date.

Phone/Skype consultations are available too if you are unable to get to the Studio.  We also do venue “walk around consultations” if possible and where we have availability.

Do you have a minimum order?

There is no minimum order if you are collecting and returning items to the studio.

On local Deliveries – a minimum order is £100 (within 30mins drive)

On Deliveries further afield – a minimum order is £500


If you set up our wedding, can we supply items too?

YES! We do a lot of weddings with really creative couples who have made things themselves or couples that have collected items over the years.  We are happy to work with what you have and set those items up along with our own items.


Can we book you even though we are not sure what we want yet?

Absolutely, we can send over a booking invoice for you and then work things out at a later date.


Is there a certain time we should book a stylist in our planning journey?

There is not a strict time to book, my advice would be as soon as you know you want to book us, go for it.  Some couples book us years in advance and others weeks before.  In the Summer months last minute bookings are often more tricky to do but never say never!


Do you recommend other suppliers?  

Yes!  We work with ALOT of lovely suppliers.  We have listed some of our Wedding’ey’ friends on this page on our website.


Do you do Events, Proms, Birthday Parties, TV Work, Corporate Work and other Celebrations too?

We do, they aren’t solely wedding suppliers and decorate and style a lot of other events too.  Please message for more info.

Terms and Conditions



Please find below a list below of our terms and conditions.  If you have any questions regarding this document please contact Fleur de Lace (email: )  A copy of this invoice is sent out with each booking.


These Terms and Conditions have been updated in March 2020. ( SECTION 1) covers Fleur de Lace’s Cancel procedures for this period of uncertainty and any reoccurrence. 


SECTION 1: Due to the situation we find ourselves in, with Covid-19. Where we are able to we transfer the booking from one date to another, we will do so.  Where this is not possible if the government or venue cancel a wedding we will return all your booking fee unless work has started on made to order items (we will hold off making them until nearer the date of your booking).   If you as the couple cancel the wedding ahead of government released dates of “lockdowns, nationwide prohibited weddings”   we are unable to return the booking fees and any money paid after that.  This stands as our cancellation policy during these uncertain times and thereafter.  Any refund is down to the discretion of Fleur de Lace. 


  • A booking fee is not returned (details in SECTION 1 exempt), unless you cancel your wedding/booking up to 9 months before your date.
  • From May 2020, Any booking for a wedding or event from September 2020 will have a “deposit” amount in addition to the booking fee and then final amount.  This deposit amount will vary in total, from £50- £250 depending on your booking.  This will cover loss and damages.  Should the loss and damage exceed this amount the ‘replacement values’ are listed on your invoice and will be billed to the hirer after your wedding.  Where there’s no loss or damage, The “deposit amount” is returned within a week after your wedding.
  • If Fleur de Lace deem the hire items on return to have unrepairable damage, an invoice will be sent with the replacement value costs, as stated above.
  • This too applies if the items are not present on collection (unless previously arranged) Please find all Replacement Values listed on the invoice.
  • If our Garden Games, flamingos and other hired items aren’t looked after during the hire period they are most likely to get damaged. This damage will lead to the Replacement Values being charged.
  • Fleur de Lace will not be liable for any injury caused to thing or being during the hire period. Where applicable instructions of use must be followed with all our hired items and care must be taken when handling any Fleur de Lace products.
  • The set up and collection times must be arranged before the event and finalised with your venue or planner.
  • Your wedding or event will be discussed, designed and styled by a professional at Fleur de Lace. We can not refund anything if something isn’t exactly how you imagined. We always follow our brief as previously discussed in consultations and in correspondence. We deliver a high standard professional finish on all weddings.
  • For late bookings or additional, Fleur de Lace will not carry out the job (or add items) if the final balance isn’t paid 48 hours before the wedding or event.
  • Risk assessments are made for each job, however if your venue require a formal document, we can provide this on request.
  • Fleur de Lace will not make any made to order items until the final balance has been paid.
  • Children must be under adult supervision whilst handling and playing with Fleur de Lace Products.
  • Any Parking fines, congestion zone charges incurred due to inadequate details of delivery and collection will be charged back to the hirer.
  • In the event of extreme weather or road conditions that result in us being unable to safely deliver or collect the hire goods, we reserve the right to alter the arrangements for delivery or collection.  We request a ‘on the day’  contact number to stay in touch with someone should any issues with delivery arise.
  • We reserve the right to cancel in extreme circumstances that make your hire unviable for us, up to and including the day of your event. We are the ruling party on deciding if the service is unviable and we will not be liable for any compensation or additional costs you may incur as a result of our cancellation, however a full refund will be issued. Please note we are talking extreme situations, out of human hands.  To date no job has not been fully delivered.
  • We put images of our work on social media, We would never share this before or during the day itself.  If you would prefer us not to share anything on social media please let us know before your wedding or event

When you hire or purchase an item from Fleur de Lace, as part of the “buying and selling” process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address.
Email marketing : With your permission, we may send you emails about our website, new products being added to the collection and other updates where your booking might be concerned.




How do Fleur de Lace get your consent?
When you provide us with personal information during a transaction, in messaging, or requesting a quote, placing an order, arranging a delivery, arranging a collection, returning an order, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.
If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no and receive no further marketing.


How do I withdraw my consent?
If after you ‘opt-in’, you change your mind, you may withdraw your consent for us to contact you, for the continued collection, use or disclosure of your information, at anytime, by contacting us at or posting your request to Fleur de Lace at:

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.




Our “shop” for purchased items is Etsy. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our handmade products to you. (this does not include the services we offer in set up nor prop hire)
Your data is stored through Etsy’s data storage and Etsy’s databases. They store your data on a secure server behind a serious armed firewall!



20% of our payments are taken on booking.  The remaining amount is due 45 days before your booking.  From September 2020.  Any booking taken will have an extra “breakage cover” fee.  (for this amount please see our website) this fee will only be for couples booking after the September 2020 not bookings already made for a date after September 2020.  Please see Terms and Conditions for more info on this payment.


Payments are taken using BACS transfer, you will receive an invoice by email with payment details on.  No Bookings are taken through our social media accounts.


For returns we would request your return bank details if needed.  These are not stored on our online banking system and will be asked for on request.




When you click on links on our website, they may direct you away from our site. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites and encourage you to read their privacy policies/statements. 




To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions to follow the best practices to make sure we avoid lost, misused, disclosed or destroyed.




We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. RESPECT the credit, please do not misuse photos on the Fleur de Lace website.  If you are photographer and see a photo of yours on this site, please bring it to Fleur de Lace’s attention if you want it removed or an adaption of the credit.
